Homemade Deodorant

Who would have thought that making your own deodorant would be this simple?!  It deodorizes beautifully and is perfect for all skin types.  You can either store at room temperature and blot onto your skin or keep it chilled in the refrigerator and glide it onto your skin.

Ingredients:
  • 1/4 c cornstarch
  • 1/4 c baking soda
  • 1/4 c coconut oil, or to desired texture
  • 20 drops of therapeutic grade essential oils
Directions:

In a small bowl, combine the cornstarch and baking soda.  Slowly stir in the coconut oil a little at a time until desired consistency is formed.

Scoop into a glass jar or empty deodorant container.  Place in the refrigerator to harden.  Store in a cool place.

Note:  As long as the temperature is below 75 degrees, the deodorant will stay in its proper form.
